Kyle Buller, M.S. LPC

At the age of sixteen, I suffered a near-death experience from a snowboarding accident that almost took my life. After this traumatic accident, my life changed forever. I began seeing the world through a new lens. The world and my life did not make sense anymore, nor did the world look the same. I was catapulted into a spiritual emergence process that left me destabilized and very confused. This loss of self pushed me to seek a path of self-discovery and healing.

This path of self-discovery and healing led me to earn my B.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Burlington College, where I focused on studying the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness by exploring shamanism, Reiki, local medicinal plants and plant medicine, and Dreamshadow Transpersonal Breathwork.

After I graduated, I spent a few years working with at-risk teenagers in crisis and with individuals experiencing an early episode of psychosis in residential settings. I went on to earn my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology from Prescott College. My capstone project was exploring breathwork as a technique for working with trauma.

After obtaining my associate counselor’s license, I went on to provide psychotherapy services to undergraduate and graduate students in a university setting. I also worked with adults in a small private practice, focusing on spiritual emergencies, psychedelic integration, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-informed, blending somatic psychology, depth work, transpersonal perspectives, and practical tools for regulation and integration.

I live in the mountains of Colorado, and nature is a huge part of my life. Whether I’m snowboarding, mountain biking at high altitude, or hiking, I often draw from these experiences as metaphors for growth, resilience, and integration.
